Advantages of PC materials in car headlight covers
1. High light transmittance, light transmittance ≥ 90%, close to the clarity of glass, ensuring efficient penetration of headlights, avoiding brightness loss, and improving nighttime driving safety.
2. Anti-UV aging, no yellowing or cracking after long-term use, adding UV stabilizer, the yellowing index is much better than ordinary PC.
3. Strong weather resistance, adapt to extreme climates (-40ºC~120ºC), long-term exposure still maintains high transparency, avoiding the problem of yellowing and embrittlement of traditional plastics.
4. Ultra-high impact resistance, anti-gravel and anti-fragmentation, impact resistance is more than 10 times that of glass, can withstand high-speed flying stone impact, and reduce the risk of lampshade breakage during driving.
4. Lightweight design, improve fuel efficiency, PC density (1.2g/cm³) is only half of glass, reducing the weight of the headlight assembly, helping new energy vehicles energy saving needs.
